Prenatal exposure to alcohol may be responsible for a series of malformations and dysmorphic disorders, as well as severe dysfunctions in the foetuses’ development. This article reviews the state of knowledge and opinions of pregnant women concerned to understand how they consider the risks of alcohol consumption during pregnancy and their perception of messages intended to them.
